Test Store
The Allocate Test Store screen lets you test the integration end to end on a Glovo test store, before going live on real stores. From this screen the store is allocated, the endpoint receiving test orders is configured, and the store is released at the end.
Open Profile → Allocate Test Store. The screen is available to POS accounts.
Test stores run on the production infrastructure, in a dedicated test zone. Orders placed on them are test orders, with no real customers or transactions. Details about the mechanism and the API alternative: Test Stores (API).
Allocation
If the POS has no test store allocated, the screen shows how many stores are available. Click Allocate a test store.
- A POS holds one test store at a time.
- The number of test stores is limited. If none is free, the button is disabled and a message is shown. Try again later.
- The allocation expires automatically after 2 weeks. The store can be allocated again afterwards.
Allocated Store Details
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Store ID | The store_id of the test store, the same one that appears in order notifications |
| Name | The store name in the Glovo app |
| Delivery zone | Coordinates of the zone where the store is visible. It is not the store address. The delivery address of the test account must be set inside this zone: outside it the store does not appear, not even through a direct link |
| Allocated at / Expires at | The allocation period. The days-left counter turns red 3 days before expiry |
| Store in Glovo | Direct link to the store in the Glovo app |
| Traceability token | Token for the test order traceability API |
Webhook Configuration
The Where we send your test orders section sets the endpoint that receives orders placed on the test store.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Your URL | URL of the POS endpoint that receives test orders. Entered freely, not picked from a list |
| Token | A value of your choice. It is sent in the Authorization header of every test order, to validate the source |
Click Save. Test orders are sent by POST to the configured URL, in the standard order notification format.
WARNING
The test store webhook is configured only from this screen. It is independent of the POS endpoints used for real stores.
Placing Test Orders
- Create a separate Glovo account, with an email address not used for personal orders, and add a verified phone number to it (details).
- Set the account's delivery address inside the Delivery zone shown.
- Open Store in Glovo and place the order.
The instructions card at the bottom of the screen repeats these steps for the allocated store and includes the support address.
TIP
The Autoaccept setting is disabled by default on test stores. To enable it, contact the integration team.
Checking Test Orders
Test orders do not appear on the Order Traceability screen. They are checked through the test order traceability API, with the Traceability token from the store details.
Test Store Menu
The menu is uploaded through the same endpoint as for real stores, using the test Store ID (details).
Release
When testing is done, click Release and confirm. The webhook configuration is deleted and the store becomes available to another integrator.
If the store is not released manually, the allocation expires automatically after 2 weeks.
