Super Categories (super_categories)
Highest level of organization in a Glovo store. Not mandatory.
If at least one exists, the list is displayed to customers when opening the store. Otherwise, categories are the main structure.
V3 CHANGE
In V3, super_categories is an Array (not Object as in V2). This allows complex hierarchical structures. For backward compatibility, it can still be sent as an Object.
Categories (categories)
Level 2 of the Glovo menu (or level 1 if super categories are not used).
- At least one category is mandatory
- Composed of sections (minimum one)
- Examples: Beverages, Burgers, Salads, Desserts, Pasta
Sections (sections)
Organization level below categories.
Products (products)
The main component of the Glovo menu. Usually represents a physical product.
UNIQUE IDs
Product IDs must be unique. Products with the same ID but different prices cannot exist.
Example: If "Coca Cola" sells for 1 leu individually but 0 lei in a combo meal, 2 products with different IDs must be defined.
IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS
- Orientation: Square
- Size: 1000 x 1000 px
- Format: JPG
- File size: < 1MB
- Background: light, solid or textured color
- Protocol: HTTPS (valid, non-expired certificates)
Images must be hosted by the POS solution.
Attribute Groups (attribute_groups)
Allow grouping similar customizations. Each group can have minimum and maximum options.
Examples:
- Sauces: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup
- Beverages: water, cola, lemon
Attributes (attributes)
Product customizations (mayonnaise, extra drink, extra meat). Not mandatory. Each attribute can have different price impact.

Upload a menu and validate against the JSON schema. Returns either "all-OK" or a list of errors and warnings.
